Tank Boot Installation

For Hard Plastic Boots: Soak boot in hot water or on top of a floor heater vent for some time. After that put it on a hard surface like a garage floor. Holding the tank over the boot about 6 to 12 inches, line up with boot. Without letting go of the tank let it drop in to the boot. If you are lined up correctly it will go in to the boot a little bit and the boot will stick on the tank. Lifting up the tank and letting it hit the floor a few times will set the boot on to the tank completely.

For Vinyl Boots: Get the boot warm either in hot water or with a heater. Next, set your tank on a work bench or solid table with the bottom facing towards you. After that align the boot with the tank and lightly hit around the perimeter of the boot with the palm of your hand until it is fully seated.

1. Use non-gel toothpaste to rub on the inside and outside of the glass lenses.

2. Rinse the non-gel toothpaste off of the glass with warm water.

3. Next, use dish soap to wash the whole mask, seals included. This will get rid of the          manufacturer’s chemicals that may be present on the mask.

4. Rinse with warm water once again.

  • You may have to wash your mask again if it still fogs up.
  • Now that your mask is clean, you will be able to use defog to keep your mask clear!
