When fittedproperly, Doc’s proplugs help divers equalize
- Reduces “earsqueeze” caused by inability to equalize between the outer and middle ear
- Helps preventouter ear and inner ear infection, vertigo and thermal reaction
- Without earprotection, 65% of scuba divers suffer from ear problems which keep them awayfrom the sport (source: DAN)
Doc’s Proplugs canprevent swimmers ear, and ear pain by blocking water from entering the ears, keeping ears warm and
preventing the flushing of water in and out of the ear.Ear pain and infection are caused by cold exposure and erosion of
delicate skinand wax in the ear canal.
Upon descent,Proplugs prevent water from entering the ear down to 20 feet in depth. Once thediver enters greater depths,
water will be allowed into the ear forequalization. Unlike other earplugs, ours includes a Scott’s valve which allowsears to
equalize easily and let sound in. Our proplugs have been used byhundreds of divers for over thirty years who testify that
proplugs are theearplugs for divers.
earplugs which are solid and would not be recommended for diving, Proplugs arevented to allow equalization. While the
small vent allows equalization to occurit does not allow debris to enter and it prevents earwax from washing out which
exposes delicate ear tissue.
